The present-day situation

The Sc “Krylatskoye” is one of the biggest ice complexes in the world. It meets all the modern requirements for carrying out contests of the highest level.

 

The sports arena can be transformed thus it is possible to carry out the contests in summer kinds of sport.

 

The complex is a unique one and it is the first covered ice arena in Russia.

 

In the period of 8 months since its “birthday”, the complex was recognized as the laureate of the main Russian architectural prize “architecture 2004”. Besides, as a result of the contest “the Russian sports industry-2004», our complex became the owner of the Grand Prix.

 

The “service record” of the complex includes the first victory of the Russian tennis-players in the world team championship (FED CUP-2004), the juniors’ European Games, the selection tournament of the World Cup, the Russian speed skating Championship and the World all-round Championship in 2005.

 

A whole series of presentations and other corporative activities of the leading both Russian and foreign organizations took place here.

 

To date, the stuff of the complex may cope with tasks of different complexity. The sports center may be compared with a submarine-it can function autonomously-it has transport, the food sector with 2 cafes, the  training hall for sportsmen of the highest level, the medical sector with the all necessary modern equipment, comfortable checkrooms and shower rooms, the own boiler room, and a special water analysis laboratory.

 

The press center of the stadium is perfectly supplied. It has the hall for press conferences (100 seats) with the first-rate video-and-sound equipment and boxes for simultaneous translation. The working hall of the press center may seat about 20-30 journalists or photographs. If necessary, we can make a temporary working press hall for 100 seats. There are 30 commentator positions on the arena in the press box. This number of seats doesn’t include 7 stationary positions above the main tribune. The press box may also seat more than 100 journalists. Besides, we have an opportunity to carry out professional video-and-photo shooting.
